Slipshod was born from the heart of the freeparty movement. A community-powered, artistic, and immersive experience created for people who crave something unique, inclusive, and imaginative. Rooted in the music, culture, and DIY ethos of freeparties, Slipshod brings together diverse sounds, creative expression, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere that celebrates connection and freedom.

After an incredible first year in 2025, Slipshod remains a proudly grassroots and fully self-funded festival. We exist because of our community: the artists, crews, families, and supporters who believe in independent festivals and want to see alternative, creative spaces thrive. Early ticket sales are essential to keeping Slipshod community-owned, accessible, and sustainable as we build towards an even more exciting 2026 edition.

Our home, Scholey Park in Lincolnshire, offers the perfect setting, old-growth woodland, flowing rivers and streams, wildflower meadows, and a beautiful firepit that becomes a gathering point for music, workshops, and connection throughout the weekend. It’s a space shaped by nature and nurtured by everyone who joins us.
